The Pirates are a new and unique group in Troop 1853. Led by their Patrol Leader, Alex, the Pirates are a group of Life and Eagle scouts all of whom have held high Troop office.

The grouping of these senior scouts together in one patrol gives the Troop a tremendous resource for leadership, training, and planning. At the same time, the patrol gives the young men a group of their peers with whom to camp and plan outings.

Troop 1853 is proud to have an active cadre of young men who have been in scouting throughout their teenage years and have achieved high rank. Together, the Pirates set the tone for the Troop.
