This years' Summer Camp is scheduled from July 11th until July 17th at beautiful Camp Brady Saunders, west of Richmond. We encourage all Scouts to attend an extended camp in the summer - either Summer Camp or a Venturing activity. For new Scouts, Summer Camp is the best opportunity to learn the Scout Skills necessary for advancement to 1st Class; for older Scouts, Summer Camp offers an opportunity to earn key merit badges on the Trail to Eagle. Once we have the final costs tallied, a final price will be published (we must pay $250 to the camp per Scout, plus $100 for adults; we also have expenses related to t-shirts, hats, fuel, etc). Finally, remember that Scouts and adults will need a doctor's physical (see form attached below) completed within the past year. Please let Kevin Doyle know if you plan to attend!

22 Jun – Physical Due (mail to Camp Brady Saunders two weeks prior)
26 Jun – Mail Tour Permit
29 Jun – 2nd Adult Leaders Meeting
6 July – Publish FINAL Ride Plan & prepare Draft Camp Phone Tree
11 July – Issue T-Shirts, distribute Camp Brady Saunders Phone Tree, and depart for Camp (10 AM, Hunt Valley Elementary School - HVES)
17 July – Return from Camp, initiate telephone roster upon departure (Arrival around 1200 at HVES)
